Viral Video of Cop Shouting ‘Thain Thain’ at Criminals as His Pistol Stops Working Gets Him a ‘Bravery Reward’!

Out of all the videos that went viral this past week, nothing managed to capture the attention of everyone as the one showing an Uttar Pradesh cop chasing ‘gundas’ with the bare sound of his voice.

The rather hilarious clipping showed Sambhal sub-inspector, Manoj Kumar, creating gun-fire sounds from his mouth, exclaiming – ‘Thaye Thaye’, as the only pistol he had, stops working during an encounter with criminals.

Captured in the dark hours of the night, in the midst of a sugarcane field, the video features cops attempting to stop a criminal named Rushkar – which is when their pistol gets jammed.

It wasn’t long before one of them shows his creativity and goes all-Bollywood on the spot.

Watch:

Believe it or not, the incident was considered an ‘act of bravery’ by the UP Police – soon after it went viral, and they have now decided to recommend his name for a reward.

SP Yamuna Prasad was quoted telling the following to Times Of India:

“SI Manoj Kumar was hailed as a hero… In a police engagement, the SI didn’t quit… after his pistol choked. He started shouting encouraging words for his colleagues.”

Well, at least they were out there on the spot doing something!
