After an extensive treatment in London for a rare form of Cancer, actor Irrfan Khan may finally be returning to Indian soil, soon after Deewali.
A representative for the versatile actor, hinted at his possible return to the country soon after the festival season is done.
While speculations were also stirring about the actor starring on the sequel of his 2017-released hit – ‘Hindi Medium’ – the same were denied by Khan’s rep.
“The story floating about Irrfan starting Hindi Medium 2 shoot in December are all based on speculations. However there is a possibility of him returning to India after Diwali,” the spokesperson said.
Irrfan completed his four rounds of chemotherapy, as per an update he gave back in August – following which he has taken his time away from work, concentrating on getting his health and body back on track.
It was earlier in March this year, when the actor had announced that he was suffering from neuroendocrine tumour – which required him to take a sabbatical from work to seek treatment for the same.
Good to know the seasoned star of Bollywood would soon be making a return!
