A CCTV footage captured the dramatic moment when a female thief attempted to make an escape running through the railway tracks, after snatching a fellow train-passenger’s necklace.
After getting hold of one woman’s neck-piece, the accused rushed towards the exit gate, snatched another female passenger’s mangalsutra mid-way and jumped on the opposite side of the track, dramatically landing herself on the ground and rushing to cross the adjacent track to reach the platform.
Clearly she was a “pro” at the whole thing!
The incident took place at Mumbai’s Vikhroli station and the woman’s escape was caught on the security camera, which helped police register a case against her.

Lucky for her, the other track was vacant and did not have another train passing by or her attempt at the sleek theft might have costed her, her life.
Upon being caught first, she managed to convince people to let her go by play-acting that her child was missing (talk about being ‘prepared’).
But that Bollywood-level escape footage helped cops with her arrest.
