Battling Cancer, Sonali Bendre Is All Smiles As She Befriends Her Wig-Maker. See Pic!

Sonali Bendre has been quite an inspiration throughout her journey of battling cancer with a smile on her face – at least for those who love and follow her.

The 43 year old TV personality and Bollywood actress has been receiving treatment in New York, following her diagnosis with a form of cancer earlier this year.

After letting go of her hair – as a side-effect of chemotherapy, Sonali has frequently been updating everyone with pictures of herself, sporting her new bald look and sometimes decorating it with various wigs.

This Monday, the actress shared yet another image with her wig-maker in the U.S. – Bok-Hee and also talked about the friendship she has developed with her during her frequent visits to the place.

Sharing a beautiful image with the woman, with a big smile on her face – Sonali wrote – “Sometimes, in the most unlikely of circumstances, you meet the most amazing people… someone who meets you as a stranger but very quickly becomes a friend. One such person is @bokheehair, genius hairstylist and wigmaker. She has been absolutely amazing; indulging me with various looks… short hair or long hair.”

See for yourself:

Sometimes, in the most unlikely of circumstances, you meet the most amazing people… someone who meets you as a stranger but very quickly becomes a friend. One such person is @bokheehair, genius hairstylist and wigmaker. She has been absolutely amazing; indulging me with various looks… short hair or long hair. She’s been so understanding, supportive and empathetic throughout it all. Thank you so so much Bokhee, I can’t tell you how much our sessions together mean to me. You truly are an angel. #SwitchOnTheSunshine 🌞🤞🙏

Today is #ReadABookDay and what better way to celebrate it than by announcing the next book for #SBC! This one is a historical fiction set in Russia called “A Gentleman in Moscow” by @amortowles. The premise sounds pretty interesting, and I can’t wait to start reading it! #SonalisBookClub
Good to see her smiling through her battle with the disease.

Here’s wishing you sail through it fast and completely.

Get well soon, Sonali!
