A six year old little-big girl from China and her story on similar lines, about taking control of her life in the facet of some major adversities, is catching the attention of netizens.
Jia Jia and her paralyzed father were abandoned by her mother, as she ventured out for ‘a better life.’
Instead of succumbing to the circumstances, the 6 year old has since been single-handedly taking care of her bed-ridden father on her own.
According to a report published on Metro UK, when Jia is not around to look after her dad, her grandparents step in for a while to do the job. Jia Jia wakes up at 6 A.M. everyday and takes care of her dad’s morning needs before heading out for school.
Jia Jia’s mother had abandoned the family and taken their elder son along with her shortly after her husband had become paralyzed from chest-blow from an intense car crash. When asked if she now misses her mother at all, Jia Jia gives a firm response stating that she does not, as she failed to take care of her father.
“Looking after my dad, I don’t feel tired at all.” – she was quoted telling Yangtzi Evening News.
