After several months of mind-boggling expectations, the much-hyped and anticipated trailer for Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ has finally been revealed.
The epic adventure, which is loosely based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel, ‘Confessions of a Thug’, revolves in and around pre-independence India and the challenges raised by a group of “thugs” against the ruling British Empire.
After the ‘mixed-response’ received by the the first few posters, unveiling the primary characters of the flick, the Aditya Chopra-produced magnum opus has its first full fledged trailer out and as one would expect, it is instantly the talk of the town.
The trailer also gives a good glimpse of the characters being played by Fatima Sana Shaikh and Lloyd Own, along with a number of glamorous dance-sequences performed by Katrina Kaif.
So does it meet the prolonged expectations?

Yes, it is based on a fictional story created more than 100 years ago, but the overall look, costumes, action sequences and sets are reminding people of a number of Hollywood movies – primary of which is, Johnny Depp’s Pirates Of The Carribean.
There’s no doubt the project is an ambitious one for the entire cast and the producers, so it would be exciting to see how this fares with the viewers.
