It was back in the year 2010 when Sushmita Sen appeared on the big-screen, with a not-the so-well-received, multi-starrer, flick, ‘No Problem.’
The actress has since been busy being a mother to her beautiful daughters and participating in various charity events – keeping her fans and admirers posted about her whereabouts through her Instagram handle.
Although her last big-screen project came out 8 years ago, her relevance has not really decreased as she has been a constant source of inspiration – sharing her thoughtful opinions on various subjects on social media and with her new-found passion as a ‘fitness-enthusiast’, working hard to achieve her body-goals at 42.
Keeping herself away from the silver screen for this long, Sush is finally gearing for her movie comeback – as reported by DNA.
According to an ‘inside source’ close to the actress and the upcoming project she’s partaking:
“Sushmita was approached for a movie that plays out in a small town in which her character is the protagonist. It’s a crime-based drama set in Madhya Pradesh wherein she plays a tough cop. Meanwhile, the film has changed hands — there’s a new director who will be on board. Sushmita, too, gave her inputs after she heard the narration. The makers decided to alter the script and make the necessary changes, post which, she gave a go ahead. The modalities are currently being worked out. Once that is done, she will sign on the dotted line.”
Sush or her rep, have not confirmed the news yet – but with the word being out already, expect to hear an announcement soon.
