Smriti Irani Gets Emotional, Breaks Into Tears, Upon Visiting her Home After 35 years!

How many of you have had to move from your childhood home due to your family being relocated or a member in your family being posted at a different location?

No matter where you go, the memories of that first house where you grew up never really cease to exist, and all the laughter you share, the games you play and the secrets you share, stay with you forever.

It was a similar bittersweet moment for actress-turned-politician Smriti Irani, who recently visited her childhood home in Gurugram after a gap of nearly 35 years.

The BJP MP couldn’t hold back her tears and got visibly emotional as she walked around the premises of her old residence. Smriti also got to meet her old childhood friends, who greeted her with utmost zeal and affection.

The reason for Irani to visit her old home was to promote old-friend and colleague, Ekta Kapoor’s new show ‘Home’ – but the journey sure ended up moving the former actress into overflowing emotions.

This sure does make me miss my own childhood home.
