Almost every actor has had to face the wrath of box-office, at one point or another.

Acting, being one of the most uncertain professions out there, leaves no mercy for anyone. For at the end of the day, the investors really do rely on your ability to pull-in the numbers.

Actress Shraddha Kapooor too, has had a good taste of it. Experiencing her own sets of ups and downs in Bollywood, Kapoor recently reflected on her shaky start in the movie-biz and how it taught her about the uncertainty that always looms over the profession.

“My journey in films didn’t start on a high note and from that time only I realized hits and misses are a part of an industry, but it does feel really nice when people say your film has worked very well. This success makes me want to work even harder and keep at it.”

Shraddha further stated how, in her times of need, it was filmmakers like Aditya Chopra and Mohit Suri who believed in her and still offered her movie roles.

“Aditya Chopra is a very important person in my life, he is someone who believed in me when nobody did after Teen Patti, he gave me a film which was on my shoulder,” she said.

Shraddha’s latest release is the Horror flick, Stree – which has managed to do pretty well in it’s first week alone. Speaking on the surprising success of the movie, the actress said – “I never kept a tab on any of my collections, but I am so grateful and thankful for all the love and support, it means the world, It’s been a while I have received congratulatory messages. I feel so good.”

The success of Stree is not all for Shraddha as of now, as she will soon gear for the release of two major projects alongside, Shahid Kapoor and Prabhas.

When it comes to showbiz, patience and hard-work are really ‘a necessity’ and Shraddha has already learnt her lesson.
