Shahid Kapoor and Meera Rajput were blessed with their second child, as Meera gave birth to a healthy baby boy in Mumbai’s Hinduja hospital.
The couple, who already have a 2 year old daughter, welcomed the youngest addition to their family following Meera’s discharge from the hospital and their pictures are now going viral.
The family was pictured venturing outside the hospital, as Meera held the newborn while Shahid carried little Misha. They also stopped to wave at the shutterbugs.

Later on Twitter, Shahid also announced the name of the baby boy, thanking his fans for all the wishes and blessings. The couple has named the newborn, ‘Zain’ – which is basically an Arabic word – meaning ‘grace’ and ‘beauty.’

Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapoor, who becomes second-time Grandpa, also shared his happiness over the little one’s advent:
