Kerala is facing one of its worst natural disasters in recent history. With the death toll crossing a whopping 357, and the on-going rescue operations with nearly 3.17 lakh people who have been brought to safety – the troubled state needs our help now, more than ever.
A vast number of personnel from The Indian Army has been deployed across various parts of the state to fasten the rescue operations, who have managed to save folks stranded in the harshest of situations.
As stories of many such inspiring rescue-ops continue to come to light, one such video featuring an Indian Navy officer lifting a young lad up through his aircraft is yet again reminding folks of not only the never-ending drive of our men-in-uniform to safeguard those in-need, but also the seriousness of the tragedy that has struck the beautiful state.
Reportedly filmed in Aluva – a region that has faced a harsh effect of the devastating tragedy, the video features the man hanging through a harness attached to a helicopter, with the child grabbed around his arms – as they are both lifted-up.
