Akshay Kumar is one star, who’s always willing to take-up various social causes and contribute to the society in whatever way he can.
Be it his pledge to donate funds to the struggling farmers in drought-hit villages, or spreading social awareness about female menstrual hygiene – Akshay, is always out and about, with one thing or another – and he’s constantly striving to make a change!
As the actor’s latest flick ‘Gold’ strikes the right chord with viewers and rakes-in pretty decent numbers at the box office, the star has also shot for a number of videos for an educational campaign from Transport Ministry, which seeks to make people aware about road-safety and the importance of following traffic rules – but of coarse, with a twist of the Khiladi Kumar’s trademark sense of humor.
Akshay, who has been chosen as the official face for Ministry For Road Transport and Highway’s recent campaign, “Sadak Suraksha, Jeevan Raksha”, is seen playing a traffic cop in the series of adverts, reminding the rule-breaking people that “yeh road unke baap ka nahi hai” – in the typical Akshay fashion.
