Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar among Forbes Highest-Paid actors, but where’s SRK?

We all know Bollywood A-list biggies are pretty rich, but how insanely rich are they?

We’re talking about the likes of Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan – both of whom have made it to this year’s Forbes list of the ‘The World’s Highest Paid Actors’ for the past year.

Joining the likes of Dwayne Johnson, George Clooney, Chris Hemsworth, Will Smith and Jackie Chan, Akshay and Salman were ranked among the Top 10 earners of the year, surpassing many other big names of Hollywood and Bollywood both.

So how much did they manage to rake-in?

According to Forbes, Akshay, with a whopping total earnings of $40.5 million was placed at the #7 spot, while Salman, who came close with a total of $38.5 million was ranked ninth. Which means for this year of accumulation, Akshay Kumar stands as the highest paid Indian actor, ahead of everyone else.

The #1 title belonged to George Clooney who raked-in a staggering $239 M this past year. Now that a hell lot of money!

While many SRK, fans have complained why the ‘King Khan’ of the industry wasn’t placed in the list, despite being termed the richest actor in the world, on many occasions before – it is simply because the list is based on the ‘highest paid actors of the past year’ and not the ‘richest actors overall’, and considering SRK hasn’t really released a big-banner, box-office smasher for a while, the year just didn’t belong to him.

Here is the complete list by Forbes:

1. George Clooney — $239m

2. Dwayne Johnson — $124m

3. Robert Downey Jr — $81m

4. Chris Hemsworth — $64.5m

5. Jackie Chan — $45.5m

6. Will Smith — $42m

7. Akshay Kumar — $40.5m

8. Adam Sandler — $39.5m

9. Salman Khan — $38.5m

10. Chris Evans — $34m
