A Dog is man’s best friend. And on many occasions, they turn out to be life-saviors too!
Such was the case when a dog from Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar turned into a rescuer for a 14 year old girl who was being attacked by two local goons in an alleged attempt of rape.
Considering the alarming number of rape-cases in India, the incident seems even more heartwarming as the girl’s four-legged pal came to safeguard her interest when the system and society failed her.
The incident took place this past Saturday, when the 14 year old girl was chased by two men from her locality, when she was out of her house to get some hay.
It was then she was forcibly picked by the two accused and taken to a deserted place – when her pet dog rushed to her rescue and bit one of the men, forcing them to imminently leave the spot.
The girl, thanks to her furry friend, managed to escape the scene.
