Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s condition ‘critical’: Put on Life-Support!

Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been at Delhi’s AIIMS hospital for the past nine-weeks due to his frail health, but it appears now the condition has further worsened.

The 93 year old celebrated politician, BJP-frontman and former Prime Minister of India’s health has further deteriorated in the past 24 hours, according to the latest statement from the reputed hospital. He has now been put on life support.

Mr Vajpayee has had a number of health-related issues in the recent past which has constantly alarmed his many supporters. He was admitted to AIIMS on the 11th of June due to a kidney tract infection and chest congestion, and has been on medical supervision since then.



It was only today when PM Narendra Modi too paid a visit to the ailing leader, after his Independence-day speech at Delhi’s Red Fort.

Vajpayee, who served as the 10th Prime Minister of India, is presently being looked-after by a seasoned team from nephrology, gastroenterology, pulmonology and cardiology departments.
