A viral video going around on social media showcases a young woman beating her husband for an alleged act of adultery committed by him, behind her back.
The video shows the man being thrashed, pushed and slapped several times, until he breaks down crying and pleads the woman to let go off him.
The newly-married couple hails from Tamil Nadu, and the viral video was reportedly shot in Coimbatore. The wife apparently lost her composure after getting to know about his extra-marital affair and unleashed her anger by thrashing him publicly.

As morally questionable and socially unacceptable the subject of cheating behind your marital partner’s back is, it is still not acceptable to take a violent route and turn to physical assault of any sort. Whether the one raising their hand is a male or female, physical abuse in any form should not be acceptable.
People need to realize, that there is no law that permits physical assault of any manner even in a situation where one has been cheated or lied to.
