The trailer for ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ke’ remake is out, but people are just not having it!

It would be dreadful for those of who have tuned our minds to the fine small screen work that has been showcased by a handful in the past few years, especially with the advent of Netflix and the likes of it, to go back to the tedious, illogical, never-ending Saas-Bahu sagas that has long-infested the Indian television barring its creative growth for over a generation.

But Ekta Kapoor does not care about that. The television queen, who has been responsible for helming the most popular soap-operas of the past 20 years for the Indian audiences, has yet again carved a rehash of an old “classic” of hers.

After much speculation revolving around a remake of the popular ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki’, turns out Ms Kapoor has shown her interest in the Shweta Tiwari-starrer ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’, giving the once popular show a new lease of life, with a brand new make-over.

But was it really needed, Twitter asks?

Before you say anything, check out the first teaser of the remake, follow-up season, sequel – whatever you’d like to call it:

The pivotal roles of Prerna and Anurag Basu are now being played by Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes. But irrespective of it, for those of who were subjected to the non-stop torture of these brainless shows during our childhood, it is like waking up to an old-nightmare.

See, how people are reacting to the trailer and the news:
