If the viral video of the super-perky ‘dancing uncle’ – whose Govinda-inspired moves from a wedding function made him an overnight internet sensation – weren’t enough, we now have a super-sassy critic-aunty, whose to-the-point and unabashedly honest review of ‘Veere Di Wedding’ is tickling everyone’s funny bone.
The Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Sonam Kapoor-led woman-centric comedy drama hit the big-screen this Friday and was met with mixed reactions from critics and audiences alike. Initially being termed as the Indian version of ‘Sex and The City’, the movie revolved around the lives of four city girls and the sexual and emotional tid-bits of their relationships.
In her tongue-in-cheek review of the flick, the woman highlights its evident flaws with slight shades of sarcasm. Not sure if it was intended, or just came about like that – but sure enough was the most entertaining review of a movie we’ve seen in the longest time.
Going by some of the comments on Twitter after the video went viral – perhaps more entertaining the movie itself.
The woman apparently did not stop there. She’s now appeared for a number of online-media outlets, giving more reviews on similar lines – and we’ve now made to wonder, what is it that is making her loathe the movie so much.

Nevertheless, the movie seems to be doing wonders at the box office as not just women, but everyone’s flocking outside theaters to see the charming chemistry of the four leading ladies. The movie has managed to collect over 10 crores on its opening day and is on its way to become the third biggest opener of this year after ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘Baaghi 2’.
Well, with reviews like these – we’re even more intrigued to watch the flick.
