The most awaited biopic of 2018 – ‘Sanju’ has been the talk of the town ever since the first teaser of the intriguing project was released almost a month ago.
The surreal physical transformation of Ranbir Kapoor to portray B-town’s very own ‘Sanju Baba’ on the big-screen, garnered much appraise after the unveiling of the first-look of the musical-biopic.
Now – in its first full-fledged trailer released today, the Rajkumar Hirani-directed depiction of one of the most controversial stars of the country has pushed the envelope even further.
Throwing more lights on all the black, white and grey areas of the star’s roller-coaster of a life, the new trailer gives a great look at what we might get to witness in the movie. Highlighting the many up’s and down’s from Dutt’s life – like his many sex-encounters, his advent into the world of drugs and his tryst with underworld that eventually lands him in a major trouble with the law.
The trailer does not shy away from highlighting all the tribulations that are sensitive, but pivotal to an essential depiction of – ‘the Sanjay Dutt story’.

It surely took us on a roller coaster ride of emotions, as it also showed some glimpses of his struggling days in prison.
Only a few hours since its release earlier today, the trailer has crossed over 5 million views on Youtube at the time of writing this and is #1 on the ‘Trending Topics.’

The trailer has also shown the full starcast for the first time, some of the most noticeable names of which are Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Manisha koirala and Jim Sarbh – who are all stepping-in to play some pivotal parts of the story.
The question is – will it be as honest as you expect it to be or would it end-up sugarcoating reality?
