It is indeed a wedding season in Bollywood it seems, as after the much publicized wedding of Sonam Kapoor with beau Anand Ahuja, and a ‘hush-hush’ surprise wedding of Neha Dhupia with actor Angad Bedi – former singing sensation Himesh Reshammiya has also tied the knot.
The singer and musician turned actor has married Television actress Sonia Kapoor in a quite ceremony at his home.
The couple actually tied the knot on 11th of May – although the singer did not invite any of his “industry-friends” to the ceremony, and instead plans to throw a post-wedding celebration party for everyone.
The singer was quoted telling Mid-Day:
“The marriage ceremony will be held at my home tonight. We plan to throw a party for our friends in the film fraternity later. Since tonight offers an auspicious mahurat, we decided to go ahead. We have been together for a long time, so marriage was a natural progression. It feels wonderful to formalise our relationship.”
