After Aishwarya Rai, Mallika Sherawat, Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut made headlines at walking down the red-carpet for this year’s Cannes film fesitval, all eyes were practically fixated on Sonam Kapoor.
The newly-turned bride, who’s established herself as the definitive fashion-risk taker and quite a trend-setter, finally revealed her first look on the red-carpet – and boy, she did not disappoint.
The ‘Neerja’ actress, who tied the knot with Anand Ahuja earlier this month, showed up in a Ralph and Russo designed lehenga which was only complimented by her disney-princess-like braided hair-do.

Sonam still had her ‘bridal mehendi’ on her hands, and people couldn’t help but applaud her bold-choice of outfit – which also served as an artistic expression of this new phase in her life. (After all, fashion is art, isn’t it?)
