Although the couple’s wedding and the Sangeet/Mehendi ceremonies were quite a starry-affair in their own right, the two are also hosting a grand reception in Mumbai after solemnizing the rituals in an afternoon ceremony.
Anand – who is the owner of a fashion brand, which boasts of a number of posh outlets in Delhi – had been dating the ‘Neerja’ actress for almost 2 years now. The duo finally “put a ring on it” in a traditional Sikh wedding earlier today, trying their best to not spill any beans before the actual ceremony.
Within hours of their grand wedding, the couple hosted star-studded reception at Mumbai’s Leela hotel the same night – which reminded us of Virushka’s lavish dual receptions earlier this year.
After a traditional red and gold ensemble for her wedding, Sonam opted for a dark grey and white legenga by Anamika Khanna – while hubby Anand sported a black sherwani and paired it with comfy sneakers.
Much like the couple’s afternoon wedding, the reception witnessed a host of B-town celebs including the likes of Kangana Ranaut, Rani Mukerji, Rekha, Shahid Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, Jahnvi Kapoor, Karan Johar and Vidya Balan – to name a few.
