Priyanka Chopra spilled the beans on her possible invite to the royal wedding, months ago when she appeared at The Wendy Williams show. The actress, who has been friends with the actress and now Princess Henry of Wales for over 3 years, was quite hesitant if she was close enough to get an invite to the royal affair or not – but all doubts were put to rest when her invitation was confirmed back in April.
PC, who’s made a mark in Hollywood with television series, ‘Quantico’ and a number of big-screen appearances, graced the grand event today as the royal couple was set to tie the knot in an afternoon ceremony.
Dressed in a sophisticated lilac skirt, accompanied by a jacket and a classic floral hat with similar shades, Priyanka was decked-up perfectly for the occasion as she entered the wedding venue – St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
The ‘Baywatch’ star’s dress was from Vivienne Westwood while she picked her hat from Philip Treacy.
The actress was previously stressed out about how the hat was going to stay put and be made to fit over her head.
Only two weeks ago, she spoke to Andy Cohen about her wedding attire preparations:
“I haven’t even been fitted yet. I have an idea [what it’s going to be]. I’m more stressed out about a small hat. How do those things stay [on]?”
