Sachin Tendulkar may have taken an indefinite sabbatical as a professional cricketer – but that doesn’t take away the very reason he became a cricketer in the first place – his love for the sport.
The legendary icon of Indian cricket, was recently spotted playing ‘casual cricket’ in the narrow streets of Mumbai and it was a delight to see a bat in his hand again.
The moment was captured in a video which is now going viral, showing the beloved all-rounder playing a few friendly shots with locals.
The short clip has been shot somewhere in Ville Parle in Mumbai, showing the cricketer getting all “involved in the match” before a few cars start to stop by and a couple of voices can be heard calling his name.

Imagine if you witness him playing cricket in person while casually walking down the street.
We would most certainly lose it.
