Among those, is her her eldest daughter Jhanvi Kapoor who turned 21 this week – only a few days after her mother’s untimely demise – and celebrated the occasion in a quite manner by spending time at an old-age home.
The aspiring actress and upcoming star of Karan Johar’s “Dhadak” decided to spend her birthday quietly in the presence of her near and dear ones and also took out the the time to visit an old-age NGO in Mumbai.

Cousin Sonam Kapoor posted a picture of the budding star on her Instagram and left her a sweet wish.
“To one of the strongest girls I know, who became a woman today. Happy birthday jannu,” she wrote.
Jhanvi also shared a heartfelt note on her IG along with a number of past pictures of her mother.
“On my birthday, the only thing I ask of all of you is that you love your parents. Cherish them and devote yourself to making them feel that love,” she wrote. “They have made you. And I ask that you remember my mother fondly, pray for her soul to rest in peace. Let the love and adulation you’ll showered on her continue and please know that the biggest part of my mother was the love she shared with papa. And their love is immortal because there was nothing like it in the whole world.”
