As the nation celebrated the pious occasion of Bhai Dooj this past Saturday, brothers and sisters got together to strengthen their bonds further with love, affection, promises of well-being and the exchange of gifts.

But one celebration perhaps won more hearts across the nation because of the inspiring and heartwarming backdrop associated with it.

On 21st October, Facebook user Samrat Basu posted pictures of him along with his specially-abled sister celebrating the festival, which was followed with wishes and words of adoration and respect by thousands over the internet.

Samrat’s sister, who is wheelchair bound and can not make use of her hands, placed a tilak on the forehead of her brother with the help of her feet – as beautifully captured in the pictures shared by him.

Hope their bond continues to grow and evolve further like this.
