Rajkumar Rao undergoes epic transformation to play Subhash Chadra Bose

Rajkumar Rao is known for playing a variety of roles and always attempting to transform himself into the very sking of his characters. Rao has delivered critically acclaimed performances in movies like Aligarh, Shahid and Trapped and generated quite a buzz for his look in the upcoming Sushant Singh Rajput starrer, Raabta, in which he reportedly plays a 300 year old tribal.

The National Award winning actor has stunned everyone again with the first-look of his appearance in an upcoming web-series titled ‘Bose’. The 32 year old actor has shaved part of his head in attempt to grasp the look of Subhash Chandra Bose, one of the most prominent leaders of pre-independence India,

Check out his first look from the series as revealed by the actor on Twitter:

“Got a hair cut done for #Bose. We’ll soon put out the first look as Bose. Until then, these r the post hair cut pictures.Thank U @AalimHakim,” the actor wrote on his Twitter handle.

Rajkumar will also be putting on 10 KG’s to look more like the character. A glimpse of his first-look from the series is intriguing, to say the least.

There’s no denying the fact that Rao is one of the most underrated actors of the generation and that the industry is in dearth of artists who are willing to give-in to the depth of the characters to such extents, it would be great to see him getting some major roles utilizing his potential to the max.
