So I was recently given the task of putting together the hottest Bollywood actresses of the year so far – limiting the choices, to those who have been relevant this past year.
Including a number of other contributors to Soundpasta and a few of our buddies, it turned into quite an interesting discussion, as a variety of opinions flew in from all directions.
While there are some who are fascinated by the bubbliness of Jacqueline Fernandez and her ability to switch from ‘cute’ to ‘sexy’, there are also those who prefer the unique, earthy and raw appeal of Radhika Apte.
Some preferred the seasoned sexiness of Bollywood divas like Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, others were more fascinated by the experimenting kind from the younger generation’s headline grabbers – like Disha Patani and Esha Gupta (the two have certainly pushed the boundaries of ‘sexiness’ in the recent past, especially Esha).
So, the final list, involving a vast variety of opinions, turned out to be quite an interesting ode to the diverse group of beauties and the ‘hotness quotient’ of Bollywood’s most attractive females from the present year.

10) Kareena Kapoor – Kareena has managed to appeal to a variety of moviegoers for nearly 2 decades. All those extra hours, the 38 year old has spent working out at the gym, to attain the body she has, continues to keep her hotter than majority of the other actresses out there. The fact she can still ooze all that appeal as seen in her recent flick, ‘Veere Di Wedding’, puts her in a category by herself.
9) Mouni Roy – All the popularity Mouni has managed to gain in the past couple of years, has been due to her unique looks and ultra glam appearances. The svelte babe from Television’s ‘Naagin’ has managed to make her way to the big-screen, thanks to her massive sex appeal that has lured thousands of fans to rally behind her. She was featured on her first mainstream Hindi role in Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gold’, and will next appear in Karan Johar’s star-studded, ‘Brahmastra.’
8) Lisa Hayden – Lisa first gained popularity with her remarkable appearance in Queen, but continued to grab headlines due to her many hot photoshoots and her style baby-bump avatars during her recent pregnancy. Hayden is an unconventional beauty, and her sex appeal lies in her uniqueness and boldness.
7) Disha Patani – The sweet-looking, charming girl from MS Dhoni’s biopic, recently grabbed eyeballs for her fit-to-perfection, athletic body – which she unabashedly shows off to the cam. Disha was also a ‘thorough babe’ throughout the year, as she shared quite a number of eye-candy shots during her many getaways with her rumored beau, Tiger Shroff.
6) Priyanka Chopra – From her pouty lips to her curvy assets, PC is certainly a voluptuous beauty. The Quantico actress has raised the temperatures with her appearance in the US TV scene and with a number of other Hollywood ventures under her belt, she shows no signs of stopping.
5) Radhika Apte – Another dusky beauty, who oozes major sex appeal both on and off-screen. Radhika’s distinct looks, ethnic sex-appeal – sets her apart from other B-town hotties. Her recent rise to mainstream flicks, and her several temperature-raising photo-shoots are a proof of just that.
4) Esha Gupta – The former Miss India International title winner grabbed all eyeballs as she chose to respond to the slut-shaming trolls by baring it all for her Instagram handle. The model and actress showed-off her curvaceous body and it was certainly the hottest thing that took place in 2018.
3) Deepika Padukone – This tall, slender and flawless beauty has been ‘crushed over’ by almost everyone. The long-legged, model-esque hottie was not a presence you could ignore, even as she undertook to portray the historic character of Rani Padmaavati.
2) Sunny Leone – The Baby Doll of Bollywood is certainly a non-stop force of thirst-filled desire for many Indian men (and women). Besides her flawless body and her ability to shimmy at her best to Desi numbers, Sunny remained relevant in 2018 – with her no-hold-barred (well, to some extent) biopic, in which the actress was seen playing her younger, bold self, depicting her journey from an A-list Porn queen to an A-list Bollywood star.
1) Urvashi Rautela – Urvashi Rautela scorched the big screen in 2018 with her sultry appearance in the 4th installment of Hate Story. It was certainly a close call between her and Sunny (our #2) – who also boasts of a vast number of droolers, but Rautela beat her to it with her not just with her exotic looks and voluptuous assets, but also the headlines the Uttarakhand siren managed to grab this past year (PS: To be honest, we don’t mind switching the positions between Sunny and Urvashi, but it is what it is – Miss Rautela is our #1 for 2018).
